A low pressure system strengthened as it moved across the eastern Great Lakes and into Canada. The storm produced a prolonged period of high winds across New Hampshire. Numerous trees were downed, causing property damage and temporarily blocking roadways. Power outages affected 10,000 customers. Peak wind gusts were estimated at 61 mph in New Durham.
