Strong and gusty winds combined with snow to create near blizzard-like conditions over most of the Nebraska panhandle. Many roads were closed, including a 100 mile stretch of Interstate 80. Winds gusted as high as 58 mph at Sidney, NE, with gusts to 49 mph recorded at Scottsbluff, NE.
