The high temperature at Worcester Regional Airport only reached 34 degrees at 8:47 am. This broke the record for the lowest maximum temperature for the date, which was 38 degrees set in 1952. In addition, the high of 34 degrees tied the record low maximum for the month, which was set on October 30, 1925.At Logan International Airport in Boston, the high temperature only reached 40 degrees at 10:09 am, which broke the record for the lowest maximum temperature for the date. The previous record was 43 degrees set in 1952.
