Damaging Wind in Colorado, June 19, 2000
A line of thunderstorms which appeared as a bow echo on radar displays produced very strong winds which blew down about 500 acres of old growth forest. Trees blocked the New Castle to Buford Road for several days until workers completed the tree removal.

A line of thunderstorms which appeared as a bow echo on radar displays produced very strong winds which blew down about 500 acres of old growth forest. Trees blocked the New Castle to Buford Road for several days until workers completed the tree removal. Radar measured the bow echo moving eastward at 64 knots.
