A rapidly developing low pressure system moved through the eastern Gulf of Alaska and brought high winds to coastal sections of Southeast Alaska. Peak winds associated with this storm were 52 kt at Hydaberg Seaplane Base, 55 kt at Biorka Island near Sitka, and 50 kt at the Yakutat Airport.
