Downburst winds did considerable damage to a 25 block area in the southwest section of Joplin. Numerous trees were blown down or uprooted. Power lines were downed with widespread power outages. Several roofs were damaged or blown off. Over 58 windows were broken at the St. Johns Regional Medical Center. Numerous vehicles were damaged.
