Ice Storm in Alaska, September 30, 1999
An occluded front moved over southern Norton Sound on the 30th , eventually dissipating near the Seward Peninsula that evening. Unalakleet reported Freezing Rain on NWS observations during this time, and a telephone conversation with a resident at Golovin around 1500 confirmed freezing rain had fallen earlier in the day.
