Strong, post frontal, gradient wind gusted as high as 45 mph across the area. Individual ASOS sites from around the area indicated sustained winds of 17 to 23 mph, with peak winds of 33 to 38 mph. Numerous trees were uprooted and many large limbs were broken off. Power lines were subsequently damaged due to the falling trees and six thousand customers were temporarily without power for a few hours. Many locations also received 2 to 3 inches of rainfall during same time span.
