High Wind in New Mexico, April 2, 1998
An upper level low pressure center which brought heavy snow to far northern New Mexico produced gusty winds during the afternoon for most northern and central areas of the state. Roof damage was reported at the Aztec Ruins National Monument and also in Portales and in Casa Colorada south of Belen.
