Heavy rain falling over the headwaters of the Wissahickon Creek in Montgomery County caused some minor flooding of the creek within Philadelphia during the early morning of the 2nd. The Wissahickon Creek near Ridge Street was above its estimated 5 foot flood stage from 230 a.m. EST until 5 a.m. EST on the 2nd. It crested at 5.4 feet. Storm totals in lower Montgomery County averaged between 1.5 and 2.0 inches and less than an inch within Philadelphia.
