Where: Southern Herkimer forecast zone
Property damage: $5,000
Coordinates: 43.420, -74.962 (the zone’s center; the record gives no point)

Rapid snowmelt during the end of March and beginning of April, caused the Hinckley Reservoir to fill and spill over the dam. Approximately two feet of water spilled over the Hinckley Dam for several days, which resulted in minor flooding along the West Canada Creek. The flood waters impacted trailer parks and recreational areas along the creek.
