Prolonged thunderstorm activity produced flash flooding of roads and some creeks. Radar estimated up to 3 inches fell in an hour in isolated spots. Several roads were under water, including U.S. Highway 45 south of Carrier Mills and Illinois Highway 34 near Rudement.
