Bad weather caused flight delays with Sunday night and Monday morning scheduled airline flights between the two Samoas. No flight cancellations were reported. However, high winds and heavy rain caused a power outage on the western side of the main island of Tutuila, cutting power to more than 10,000 American Samoa Power Authority (ASPA) customers. A tree fell on electrical wires, due to high winds, blowing up a transformer in one of the populated areas of the territory. No injuries reported.
