Strong winds, gusting to near 40 mph at times, snapped tree branches and limbs, and blew a few trees down across parts of central Wisconsin. In one incident, a tree brought down a power line, and then caught on fire, leaving 300 people in Polonia (Portage co.) without power for several hours.
