A strong cold front moved rapidly east across the region during the evening hours causing a broad area of strong, gusty winds. Damage to trees and powerlines was reported in a few locations. Up to 40 trees were reported down in the Bradford area, blocking several roads. Trees were also reported down in Somerset County. Winds gusted to 60 mph in the Altoona area and 55 mph in Harrisburg and Greencastle.
