Low pressure moving eastward from the Great Lakes brought heavy snow to parts of central Maine. Accumulations were generally 1 to 3 inches in the north, 8 to 10 in central areas with little or no accumulation along the coast. Extreme northern Washington County and extreme southern Aroostook Counties had accumulations of about a foot.
