A series of storms moved from the southwest Bering Sea to the northeast Bering sea and southern Chukchi Sea, Resulting in High Winds and possible Blizzard conditions. Shishmaref reported maximum winds of 35 kts gusts 41 kts. Point Hope reported maximum winds of 43 kt gusts 49 kts. Maximum Winds reported for Zone 24: Savoonga 34 kts gust 42 kts; Gambell 41 kts gusts 50 kts; Cape Prince Of Wales 40 kts gusts 62 kts; Tin City 46 kts gusts 51 kts.
