What happened
The episode as NWS PHI wrote it up.
A rapidly deepening low pressure system located just east of Seaside Heights at 7 a.m. EST the morning of the 6th produced high winds across Southeast New Jersey. Wind gusts reached 61 mph at Seaside Park. A wind gust in excess of 60 mph was also reported in Hammonton. Peak gusts at the Atlantic City International Airport reached 52 mph and 47 mph at the Marina in Atlantic City. Most of the gusts occurred with west winds after the low pressure system had passed. No significant damage was reported.
