August 11, 1934, 16:18:21 local time, Near Yilan, Taiwan Province, 24.8 N, 121.5 E, magnitude 6.5.

Yilan: 6 houses were completely destroyed, 11 houses

were destroyed partly, 3 persons were killed or injured. Chimneys and other construction collapsed. The shock was felt in the north of the middle part of Taiwan and the Shiyuan Island.
