December 22, 1930, 12:19:50 local time, Southeast of Tainan, Taiwan Province, 23.2 N, 120.6 E, magnitude 5.5. Houses of 121 families were devastated completely, 424 were destroyed partly and 2,295 were damaged in Tainan. Cliffs collapsed and roads in the city cracked with emission of sand. (reference #3939)
