September 16, 1924, Armenia.-Dispatches from Moscow and Constantinople state that a very severe earthquake occurred in the Erzerum district of Turkish Armenia on September 16th. It is reported that eighty villages were seriously affected and that the earth tremors continued for a considerable time. It is also reported that over 200 lives
