2 Dec at 18:55. Strong shock in the province of Parinacochas, department of Ayacucho, which caused 34 deaths; considerable damage in the villages of Pararca. Pauza, Colta, Oyala, and Corculla, situated on the divide oof the Cordillera Occidental and near the boundary between Ayacucho and Arequipa departments. (reference #1111)
