County through Noon EDT...

At 1136 AM EDT, National Weather Service meteorologists were tracking
a strong thunderstorm capable of producing a funnel cloud near Royal
Palm Hammock, or 13 miles northwest of Everglades City, moving north
at 45 mph.

HAZARD...Funnel clouds and wind gusts of 45 to 50 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Funnel clouds occasionally touch down and produce tornadoes
         or waterspouts. Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and
         blow around unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Ave Maria, Golden Gate Estates, Immokalee, Orangetree, Big Corkscrew
Island, Royal Palm Hammock, Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary, South Blocks
Golde, Fakahatchee Strand State Preserve, Picayune Strand State
Forest, Port Of The Island, Intersection I-75 And Everglades Blvd,
and Lake Trafford.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Funnel clouds occasionally touch down and produce tornadoes or
waterspouts. Move indoors and stay away from windows.

At 1138 AM EDT, National Weather Service meteorologists were tracking
strong thunderstorms capable of producing a funnel cloud along a line
extending from near Lion Country Safari Park to near Mission Bay.
Movement was north at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Funnel clouds and wind gusts of 45 to 50 mph.

IMPACT...Funnel clouds occasionally touch down and produce tornadoes
         or waterspouts. Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and
         blow around unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
West Palm Beach, Boca Raton, Boynton Beach, Delray Beach, Wellington,
Jupiter, Palm Beach Gardens, Lake Worth, Riviera Beach, Belle Glade,
Palm Beach, Pahokee, Tequesta, Highland Beach, Juno Beach, Ocean
Ridge, Canal Point, Greenacres, Royal Palm Beach, and Palm Springs.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

These winds can down small tree limbs and branches, and blow around
unsecured small objects. Seek shelter in a safe building until the
storm passes.

Funnel clouds occasionally touch down and produce tornadoes or
waterspouts. Move indoors and stay away from windows.

Persons participating in outdoor activities should seek sturdy
shelter until these storms pass. Open shelters found in parks,
beaches, or golf courses offer no protection from the dangers of
lightning.
