...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of southeastern Sherman
County through 715 PM MDT...

At 658 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 4
miles east of Goodland, moving southeast at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of southeastern
Sherman County, including the following locations... Edson.

This includes Interstate 70 in Kansas between mile markers 18 and 33.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
