...FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 11 PM CDT THIS 
EVENING FOR NORTHERN BROWN AND NORTHERN NEMAHA COUNTIES...

At 857 PM CDT, local law enforcement reported thunderstorms 
producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 2 and 5 inches 
of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.5 
inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is already 
occurring across parts of northern Brown County.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

SOURCE...Law enforcement reported.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
         highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
         drainage and low-lying areas.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Sabetha, Seneca, Morrill, Bern, Reserve, Oneida, Hamlin and 
  Baileyville.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the 
dangers of flooding.

Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law 
enforcement and request they pass this information to the National 
Weather Service when you can do so safely.

  Northern Brown County in northeastern Kansas...
  Northern Nemaha County in northeastern Kansas...

* Until 100 AM CDT.

* At 1012 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing 
  heavy rain across the warned area. Between 3 and 5 inches of rain 
  have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are 
  possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is already occurring.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

At 1114 PM CDT, NWS Doppler radar continued to show Thunderstorms 
moving east-southeast across northeast Nemaha and northern Brown 
counties Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain 
across the warned area. Between 4 and 6 inches of rain have fallen. 
Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in the 
warned area. Flash flooding is already occurring.
