The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of 
  Northeast Indiana
  Lower Michigan
  Northern Ohio
  Northwest Pennsylvania
  Lake Erie

* Effective this Wednesday afternoon and evening from 130 PM
  until 900 PM EDT.

* Primary threats include...
  Scattered damaging wind gusts to 65 mph likely
  A tornado or two possible

SUMMARY...Strong to severe thunderstorms will develop and increase
across the region this afternoon, including areas near a front
across Lower Michigan where a few supercells including some hail and
possibly a tornado could occur aside from damaging winds. Multicells
capable of damaging winds are otherwise expected to be common across
the remainder of the region.

The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 85
statute miles north and south of a line from 20 miles southwest of
Kalamazoo MI to 5 miles east of Erie PA. For a complete depiction of

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

favorable for severe thunderstorms in and close to the watch area.

warnings. Severe thunderstorms can and occasionally do produce
