* Forecast...The river will rise above flood stage late this evening
to 25.5 feet just after midnight tonight. It will then fall below
flood stage late tomorrow morning to 15.0 feet and begin rising
again Saturday evening. It will rise to 15.9 feet early Sunday
morning. It will then fall again and remain below flood stage.
* Impact...At 25.0 feet, Extensive crop land flooding is occurring,
mainly between State Highway 30 and County Highway 46. Water is

morning.
* Impact...At 29.0 feet, The post office, businesses, and homes in
the low-lying areas near the river in New Albany are flooded.
Several homes along County Highway 46 are flooded. Flood water is
covering County Highways 46 and 47. Flood waters are approaching
the level of Highway 355 near Etta.
