The National Weather Service in New Orleans has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
  Eastern Jackson County in southern Mississippi...

* Until 1030 AM CDT.
    
* At 929 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
  was located 8 miles south of Gautier, or 12 miles southwest of Moss
  Point, moving northeast at 35 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely.

* This dangerous storm will be near...
  Gautier around 945 AM CDT.
  Moss Point around 955 AM CDT.
  Escatawpa and Helena around 1000 AM CDT.
  Big Point around 1010 AM CDT.

This includes Interstate 10 in Mississippi between mile markers 63
and 76.
