The National Weather Service in New Orleans has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
  Northeastern Jackson County in southern Mississippi...

* Until 400 AM CDT.
    
* At 255 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
  was located over Hurley, or 12 miles north of Escatawpa, moving
  north at 65 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely.

* This tornadic thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
  northeastern Jackson County.
