* Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending
at 10:30 AM EDT Saturday was 16.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 18.6 feet
this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after
midnight tonight.
* Impact...At 19.1 feet, Flood water covers both lanes of SR 42 just
east of the Eel River. Several county roads are flooded. Persons
in river cabins may move cars and possibly belongings to high
ground. Poland-Bowling Green Road is impassable on the northeast
outskirts of Bowling Green.

to 19.1 feet this evening. It will then fall to 16.1 feet and
begin rising again early tomorrow afternoon. It will rise to 18.0

* Impact...At 19.0 feet, Road south of river gage begins to flood.
Gosport Road closes. Extensive agricultural flooding is in
progress. Moon Road in very rural northwest Monroe County is

* Forecast...The river will rise above flood stage late this
afternoon to 18.3 feet early tomorrow afternoon. It will then fall
to 16.6 feet and begin rising again early Monday afternoon. It
will rise to 16.7 feet Tuesday morning. It will then fall below
flood stage Wednesday evening.
* Impact...At 18.3 feet, On April 23, 2011 Historic Rok-Sey roller
staking rink at Rockford was sandbagged. This historic structure
was flooded by 2 feet of water in June 2008 when the river
approached 21 feet.

* At 10:00 AM EDT Saturday the stage was 2.5 feet.
* Flood stage is 9.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage just
after midnight tonight to a crest of 10.8 feet Monday morning. It
will then fall below flood stage late Monday evening.
* Impact...At 11.2 feet, State Road 11 in the Garden City area
closed at this level during March 2008 flood. Every road leading
to or crossing the East Fork White River in Bartholomew County
except for State Road 46 was flooded during the bigger March 2008
flood. All roads were flooded in June 2008.

* At 10:30 AM EDT Saturday the stage was 5.1 feet.
* Flood stage is 11.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage just
after midnight tonight to a crest of 13.9 feet Monday morning. It
will then fall below flood stage early Tuesday morning.
* Impact...At 13.3 feet, Lowland flooding in progress along
Driftwood River in northern Bartholomew County on April 6, 2011.
Double Y Saddle Club area flooded. At least 6 inches of water
flowing over CR 950N to Club. Water is less than one foot away
from CR 330W just south of its intersection with Ohio Ridge Rd. CR
500N west of CR 250W is flooded blocking vehicular access to
residences near the river bank. Lowell Public Access site is open
but ramp is totally flooded. Water close to one residence at
Shelby CR 1000S and CR 900W.

feet.
* Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late
tomorrow morning to a crest of 15.7 feet tomorrow evening. It will
then fall below flood stage early Monday afternoon.
* Impact...At 16.0 feet, Some agricultural lands underwater. A few
rural roads in Crawford County, Illinois close as water backs up
Minnow Slough. High water affects campground at Leaverton Park in
Palestine. A few private roads near the Gill Township levee in
Sullivan County may flood. Water level is at the top of most
makeshift levees.

* From Sunday evening to Friday afternoon.
* At 7:00 AM EDT Saturday /6:00 AM CDT Saturday/ the stage was 5.8
feet.
* Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
* Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river will rise to 6.2 feet just after midnight
tonight. It will then fall to 6.1 feet and begin rising again
tomorrow morning. It will rise above flood stage tomorrow evening
and continue to rise to 22.6 feet Tuesday evening. It will then
fall below flood stage early Friday morning.
* Impact...At 22.9 feet, A 25 foot section of Levee Unit 8 failed at
this level on March 6 2011...flooding local roads behind the
levee. Flooding not nearly as bad as June 2008 levee failure.
Flooding was very close to one of the June 2008 failures.

...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in

Driftwood River, Muscatatuck River, Eel River.

Illinois...
East Fork White River, Flatrock River, White River, Wabash River.
.Flooding is either in progress or expected to develop along area
waterways across roughly the southern half of Indiana by Wednesday
as a result of excessive rainfall on Friday into Saturday. Numerous
rain gauge reports have been received of rainfall in excess of three
inches. Some totals were in the 5 to 8-inch range, peaking at 7.41
inches in Spencer in Owen County and 7.42 inches in Ellettsville in
Monroe County.
Moderate flooding is in progress or expected to develop at a handful
of locations: Haw Creek near Clifford, East Fork White River at
Seymour, and Newberry on the White River.
Beware of flooding at and near these locations, including area
roads, especially at night.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

.Numerous creeks and rivers have either gone into flood or are
expected to soon flood as a result of excessive rain that fell
latter Friday through Saturday morning across mainly the southern
half of Indiana. Moderate flooding may occur at Newberry, Indiana
on the White River in central Indiana Sunday evening through Tuesday
afternoon.
Numerous rain gauge reports have been received of rainfall in excess
of three inches. Some totals were in the 5 to 8-inch range, peaking
at 7.41 inches in Spencer in Owen County and 7.42 inches in
Ellettsville in Monroe County.
Beware of flooding at and near these locations, including area
roads, especially at night.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
Flooding is occurring or is imminent. Most flood related deaths
occur in automobiles. Do not attempt to cross water covered bridges,
dips, or low water crossings. Never try to cross a flowing stream,
even a small one, on foot. To escape rising water find another route
over higher ground.

...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers and creeks
in Indiana...Illinois...
Buck Creek, Haw Creek, Flatrock River, Youngs Creek, Driftwood
River, Flatrock River, East Fork White River, Clifty Creek,
Muscatatuck River, White River, Wabash River, Eel River.
.Numerous creeks and rivers have either gone into flood or are
expected to soon flood as a result of excessive rain that fell
latter Friday through Saturday morning across mainly the southern
half of Indiana. Moderate flooding may occur at Newberry, Indiana
on the White River in central Indiana Sunday evening through Tuesday
afternoon.
Numerous rain gauge reports have been received of rainfall in excess
of three inches. Some totals were in the 5 to 8-inch range, peaking
at 7.41 inches in Spencer in Owen County and 7.42 inches in
Ellettsville in Monroe County.
Beware of flooding at and near these locations, including area
roads, especially at night.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Flooding is occurring or is imminent. Most flood related deaths
occur in automobiles. Do not attempt to cross water covered bridges,
dips, or low water crossings. Never try to cross a flowing stream,
even a small one, on foot. To escape rising water find another route
over higher ground.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

500N west of CR 250W is flooded blocking vehicular access to
residences near the river bank. Lowell Public Access site is open
but ramp is totally flooded. Water close to one residence at
Shelby CR 1000S and CR 900W.

.Numerous creeks and rivers have either gone into flood or are
expected to soon flood as a result of excessive rain that fell
Friday evening through Saturday morning across mainly the southern
half of Indiana. Moderate flooding may occur in a few spots along
the White and East Fork of the White Rivers. Numerous rain gauge
reports have been received of rainfall in excess of three inches.
Some totals were in the 5 to 8-inch range, peaking at 7.41 inches in
Spencer in Owen County and 7.42 inches in Ellettsville in Monroe
County.
Beware of flooding at and near these locations, including area
roads, especially at night.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Flooding is occurring or is imminent. Most flood related deaths
occur in automobiles. Do not attempt to cross water covered bridges,
dips, or low water crossings. Never try to cross a flowing stream,
even a small one, on foot. To escape rising water find another route
over higher ground.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

500N west of CR 250W is flooded blocking vehicular access to
residences near the river bank. Lowell Public Access site is open
but ramp is totally flooded. Water close to one residence at
Shelby CR 1000S and CR 900W.

about 2.5 feet lower. Lost River did not contribute much water
during this June flood and locally it was not extremely wet.
