...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of north central
Catawba, Alexander and northeastern Caldwell Counties through 530 PM
EDT...
At 449 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 7
miles southwest of Boomer, or near Elkville, moving southeast at 15
mph.
HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph and up to half inch hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.
