...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of eastern McDowell and
southwestern Burke Counties through 245 PM EDT...
At 205 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 8
miles north of Marion, or 6 miles northwest of Lake James, moving
southeast at 20 mph.
HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph and half inch hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.
