  Brazos River Near South Bend affecting Young County.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Do not drive cars through flooded areas.
Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

  evening. Additional rises are possible thereafter.
* Impact...At 18.0 feet, Moderate river flooding is expected. 
  Numerous trailer homes will flood at Pleasant Valley.

* Flood stage is 35.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river will fall to 38.5 feet and then begin rising 
  tomorrow morning and will crest near 38.8 feet Wednesday evening. 
  It will fall on Saturday but remain above flood stage.
* Impact...At 40.0 feet, Moderate flooding of ranches along the 
  river is expected. The coffield prison farm and ranch lands will 
  be moderately flooded.

* Flood stage is 21.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage this 
  evening and continue rising to a crest of 24.9 feet early 
  Wednesday afternoon. Additional PK releases will arrive in a few 
  days that may take the river to the Moderate flood stage.
* Impact...At 21.0 feet, Minor Flood Stage. Water starts to impact 
  Chavez Trail near Cimmaron Trail at Horseshoe Bend.
