* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Southwestern Collin County in north central Texas...
  Northern Dallas County in north central Texas...
  Southeastern Denton County in north central Texas...
  Northeastern Tarrant County in north central Texas...

* Until 215 PM CDT.

* At 1118 AM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated 
  thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 
  1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. Some locations across northern 
  Dallas County have received rainfall totals over 1 inch in the 
  last hour.  Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are 
  possible. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

  SOURCE...Radar and automated gauges.

  IMPACT...Flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
           highways, streets, and underpasses as well as other
           poor drainage and low lying areas.

...FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 215 PM CDT THIS 
AFTERNOON FOR SOUTHWESTERN COLLIN, NORTHERN DALLAS, SOUTHEASTERN 
DENTON AND NORTHEASTERN TARRANT COUNTIES...

At 1155 AM CDT, local law enforcement officials were closing roads 
Naaman School Road between Brand and Miles Road. Campbell Road near 
Rowlett Creek is also being closed. Radar indicates that between 1 
and 3 inches of rain have fallen. The expected rainfall rate is 1 
inch in 1 hour. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are 
possible. Flash flooding is highly probable...especially across 
northern Dallas and southern Collin counties.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

SOURCE...Law enforcement reported.
