The National Weather Service in Fort Worth has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Northern Falls County in central Texas...
  Southwestern Limestone County in central Texas...
  Southeastern McLennan County in central Texas...

* Until 630 PM CDT.

* At 334 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated training thunderstorms 
  producing heavy rain. Radar estimates between 2 and 5 inches of 
  rain have fallen on already saturated soils. Flash flooding is 
  ongoing or expected to begin shortly. The expected rainfall rate 
  in the heaviest storms will approach 1 to 1.5 inches of rain per 
  hour.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
           highways, streets, and underpasses as well as other
           poor drainage and low lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Southeast Waco, Hewitt, Robinson, Woodway, Marlin, Mart, Beverly 
  Hills, Lorena, Bruceville-Eddy, Riesel, Golinda, Hallsburg and 
  Kosse.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles. Be aware of your surroundings and do not 
drive on flooded roads.

Stay away or be swept away. River banks and culverts can become 
unstable and unsafe.

EVENING FOR NORTHERN FALLS, SOUTHWESTERN LIMESTONE AND SOUTHEASTERN 
MCLENNAN COUNTIES...

At 458 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated the heavy rain has come to an 
end, however, earlier rainfall and flood water will likely take an 
hour or two to recede. Flooding of poor drainage and/or low lying 
areas as well as small creeks and streams remains possible. Please 
continue to heed remaining road closures.
