...A TORNADO WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1000 AM EDT FOR CENTRAL
MONROE AND NORTHEASTERN NORTHAMPTON COUNTIES...
    
At 938 AM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located over Pen Argyl, or 15 miles south of Mount Pocono, moving
north at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Tornado.

SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
         shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage 
         to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree damage is 
         likely.

Locations impacted include...
Mount Pocono, East Stroudsburg, Bangor, Pen Argyl, East Bangor,
Stormville, Reeders, Henryville, Saylorsburg, Analomink, Delaware
Water Gap, McMichael, Tannersville, Scotrun, Pocono Pines,
Stroudsburg, Roseto, Arlington Heights, Shawnee and Marshalls Creek.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 80 in Pennsylvania between mile markers 296 and 314.
 Interstate 380 in Pennsylvania between mile markers 0 and 3.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Protecting yourself from immediate threats to life and safety shall
take priority.  Whenever possible, as long as it does not cause
greater harm, all COVID-19 protective action guidance should be
followed.

TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest
floor of a sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a
mobile home, or in a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter
and protect yourself from flying debris.

CANCELLED...
    
The tornadic thunderstorm which prompted the warning has moved out 
of the warned area. Therefore, the warning has been cancelled.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 400 PM EDT for northwestern
New Jersey.

moving north at 40 mph.

         to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree damage is 
         likely.
