121 WWUS20 KWNS 141155 SEL7 SPC WW 141155 LAZ000-MSZ000-CWZ000-141900- URGENT - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED Tornado Watch Number 47 NWS Storm Prediction Center Norman OK 655 AM CDT Sat Apr 14 2018 The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a * Tornado Watch for portions of Eastern and southern Louisiana Southern to east-central Mississippi Coastal Waters * Effective this Saturday morning and afternoon from 655 AM until 200 PM CDT. * Primary threats include... A few tornadoes likely with a couple intense tornadoes possible Scattered damaging wind gusts to 70 mph likely SUMMARY...Line of storms has intensified from central Louisiana to southwest Mississippi. This will move steadily eastward through midday with potential for a few tornadoes and strong to isolated severe wind gusts. The tornado watch area is approximately along and 65 statute miles east and west of a line from 70 miles north northwest of Meridian MS to 55 miles southwest of Houma LA.
