The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a

* Tornado Watch for portions of 
  Western and Central North Dakota

* Effective this Friday afternoon and evening from 320 PM until
  1100 PM CDT.

* Primary threats include...
  A few tornadoes possible
  Scattered large hail and isolated very large hail events to 2.5
    inches in diameter likely
  Scattered damaging wind gusts to 70 mph likely

SUMMARY...In advance of an approaching upper system, the air mass
across western into central North Dakota will continue to steadily
destabilize in the wake of earlier-day thunderstorms and lingering
cloud cover. Strong deep-layer/low-level shear and a relatively
moist environment will support the potential for a few tornadoes
along with large hail and damaging winds as storms spread generally
northeastward through late afternoon and evening.

The tornado watch area is approximately along and 80 statute miles
east and west of a line from 70 miles northwest of Minot ND to 55
miles south of Bismarck ND. For a complete depiction of the watch
