Southwestern El Paso County in east central Colorado... * Until 745 PM MDT. * At 446 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Up to one and a half inches of rain has already fallen in the southern portions of Colorado Springs and the Security area. Flash flooding is expected to begin shortly. * Some locations that will experience flooding include... Southeastern Colorado Springs, Fountain, Stratmoor, Fort Carson, Security, Peterson AFB, Security-Widefield and Cimarron Hills.
