This will allow strong to severe storms to develop ahead of the front. Some of these storms will be capable of producing damaging winds and locally heavy rain. An isolated tornado cannot be ruled out. Additionally...strong and gusty winds are expected over the higher elevations of the East TN Mountains and higher terrain of extreme SW NC. A combination of a High Wind Warning and a Wind Advisory is in effect for these areas through 10AM EST this morning. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday No hazardous weather is expected at this time. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Spotter activation will be needed early Tuesday morning.
