...The National Weather Service in Indianapolis has issued a Flood
Warning for portions of the following river in central Indiana...
White River...
.Lowland flooding will develop along much of the White River
in central Indiana this weekend. Significant flooding is not
expected at this time. Additional rain early next week may prolong
high water and cause another crest.
Rains of 2 to 4 inches have fallen in previously dry areas of east
central Indiana since Wednesday morning.
Precautionary/Preparedness Actions...
Motorists should never drive into flood water. Turn around and go
another way. Keep children away from flooded areas. Recreational and
agricultural interests should remain alert to changing river
conditions.

* At 13.2 feet...Lowland flooding in progress along Driftwood River in
northern Bartholomew County on April 6, 2011. Double Y Saddle Club
area flooded. At least 6 inches of water flowing over CR 950N to
Club. Water is less than one foot away from CR 330W just south of
its intersection with Ohio Ridge Rd. CR 500N west of CR 250W is
flooded blocking vehicular access to residences near the river
bank. Lowell Public Access site is open but ramp is totally
flooded. Water close to one residence at Shelby CR 1000S and CR
900W.

about 1 mile north of CR 800 S.

.Periods of heavy rain over the last few days has resulted in
extensive flooding across much of central and southern Indiana.
Moderate flooding is ongoing along the Mississinewa River near
Ridgeville and along the Flatrock River near Raleigh with minor
flooding elsewhere. Most smaller streams have crested or nearly
crested with the main river still rising.
Additional rainfall later this weekend and early next week may lead
to renewed or prolonged flooding.
Precautionary/Preparedness Actions...
Motorists should never drive into flood water. Turn around and go
another way. Keep children away from flooded areas. Recreational and
agricultural interests should remain alert to changing river
conditions.

.Periods of heavy rain over the last few days has resulted in
extensive flooding across much of central and southern Indiana.
Moderate flooding is ongoing along the Mississinewa River near
Ridgeville and along the Flatrock River near Raleigh with minor
flooding elsewhere. Most smaller streams have crested or nearly
crested with the main rivers still rising.
Additional rainfall later this weekend and early next week may lead
to renewed or prolonged flooding.
Precautionary/Preparedness Actions...
Motorists should never drive into flood water. Turn around and go
another way. Keep children away from flooded areas. Recreational and

A series of waves will move through the area keeping a wet pattern over central Indiana. After a couple of dry days, more widespread rain chances return Sunday. Another stronger system arriving Monday night and Tuesday could bring thunderstorms to the area and possibly more heavy rain. && .NEAR TERM /This Afternoon/... Issued at 1005 AM EDT Fri Nov 2 2018 Surface analysis late this morning shows Low pressure in place over Western NY. A second low pressure system was found across SW Iowa. Cool NW cyclonic flow was in place across Central Indiana. GOES 16 shows some clearing across NW Indiana...although much of the forecast area was engulfed with cloud cover. Time height sand forecast soundings suggest continued lower level moisture residing across the area this afternoon. Forecast soundings show convective temperatures in the upper 40s. Thus any breaks in the stratocu are expected to fill in rather quickly. Little overall forcing is expected within the flow aloft. Thus will just expected lingering cloudy skies given the cyclonic flow and trough aloft. Discussion: Minor to moderate flooding will continue or develop along some area waterways as a result of prior rainfall. Stay away from flooded areas, and never drive through flood waters. Turn around, don't drown! .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday. Outlook: Wet and unsettled weather will return Sunday through Tuesday as a series of low pressure systems track along a frontal boundary. Thunderstorms will be possible Monday night into Tuesday. Discussion: High pressure will bring a brief period of dry weather Friday and Saturday before the unsettled pattern returns for late weekend into early next week as a series of low pressure systems track through the region. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
