* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Southwestern Meriwether County in west central Georgia...
  Northwestern Muscogee County in west central Georgia...
  Troup County in west central Georgia...
  Harris County in west central Georgia...

* Until 330 PM EDT.

* At 246 PM EDT, the leading edge of a line of severe thunderstorms 
  were located along a line extending from Stroud Creek to near 
  Fortson, moving southwest at 30 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage 
           to roofs, siding, and trees.

At 306 PM EDT, the leading edge of a line of severe thunderstorms 
was located along a line extending from near Beulah to Green Island 
Hills, moving south at 35 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
LaGrange, Hamilton, West Point, Green Island Hills, Cannonville,
Cataula, State Line Park, Abbottsford, Piedmont Heights, Mountain
Hill, Jones Crossroads, Bartletts Ferry Dam, Baughs Crossroads,
Fortson, Mulberry Grove, Smiths Crossroad, Whitesville-Pine Lake,
Lake Harding and Long Cane.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

If on or near West Point Lake, get away from the water and move 
indoors or inside a vehicle. remember, lightning can strike out to 
15 miles from the parent thunderstorm. If you can hear thunder, you 
are close enough to be struck by lightning. Move to safe shelter 
now!  Do not be caught on the water in a thunderstorm.
