PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

In hilly terrain there are hundreds of low water crossings which are
potentially dangerous in heavy rain. Do not attempt to cross flooded
roads. Find an alternate route.

...THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 530 AM CDT FOR
BENTON...MADISON...CARROLL AND WASHINGTON COUNTIES...

A serious flash flood situation is developing in Benton... northwest 
Washington and western Carroll Counties.  Rainfall of 2 to 3 inches 
has fallen in these areas and an additional 1 to 2 inches is likely. 
Some areas may see around 5 inches before morning.  

Flooding was reported in the Rogers, enough to float a vehicle. 
People in and around Siloam Springs... Bentonville... Rogers... 
Springdale and Eureka Springs should be ready for the possibility of 
serious flash flooding.  

The rain has diminished in the southeast Washington and Madison 
Counties, which has eased the flash flood threat for the moment. 
However, additional storms could form in those areas at anytime and 
the warning will remain in effect there.

The warning includes Interstate 49 between mile markers 41 and 84, 
and between mile markers 86 and 93.
 
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

Please report flooding to your local law enforcement agency when you
can do so safely.
