* At 616 PM CDT, emergency management officials reported widespread 
  flooding across much of far northwest Arkansas. Numerous roads are 
  closed across the region.
  Showers and thunderstorms will continue across the region into the 
  early morning hours on Sunday.  Widespread 2 to 4 inches of rain 
  has fallen across the region with local amounts around 6 inches 
  across portions of Benton county. An additional 1 to 2 inches of 
  rain is expected through the evening into early Sunday morning.

At 1026 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing 
heavy rain ongoing across far eastern Oklahoma moving east at 20 
mph.  These rains will spread across northwest Arkansas over the 
next several hours. Widespread 3 to 5 inches of rain has fallen 
across far northwest Arkansas with 1 to 3 inches more common across 
west central Arkansas. Flash flooding is ongoing and will 
continue into the overnight hours.

WASHINGTON COUNTIES...

At 252 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated numerous showers and 
thunderstorms continuing northwest Arkansas, in what will likely 
be the last round of significant rainfall with this storm system. 
Widespread heavy rains have already occurred over much of the 
warned area and an additional one half to one inch of rain is 
possible thru the early morning hours on Sunday. Flash flooding 
is already occurring and will worsen with the additional rainfall.

A storm chaser reported that US highway 412 east of Siloam Springs
near its intersection with the Illinois River is flooded. Water is
flowing over all 4 lanes and the westbound lanes are impassable.
