818 WWUS20 KWNS 220755 SEL3 SPC WW 220755 ALZ000-FLZ000-LAZ000-MSZ000-CWZ000-221800- URGENT - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED Tornado Watch Number 363 NWS Storm Prediction Center Norman OK 255 AM CDT Thu Jun 22 2017 The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a * Tornado Watch for portions of Southern Alabama Western Panhandle of Florida Eastern Louisiana Central and southern Mississippi Coastal Waters * Effective this Thursday morning and afternoon from 255 AM until 100 PM CDT. * Primary threats include... A few tornadoes possible SUMMARY...The tornado threat with TS Cindy is expected to spread inland but remain very widely dispersed and poorly focused through midday. Isolated supercells may intensify enough to produce tornadoes within a broad area from the lower Delta region to parts of Alabama and western Florida Panhandle. See SPC Mesoscale Discussion 118 for initial meteorological details. The tornado watch area is approximately along and 105 statute miles north and south of a line from 40 miles southwest of Natchez MS to 35 miles north northeast of Crestview FL. REMEMBER...A Tornado Watch means conditions are favorable for tornadoes and severe thunderstorms in and close to the watch area.
