  Northwestern Jackson County in west central Wisconsin...
  Central Trempealeau County in west central Wisconsin...

* Until 200 AM CDT

* At 1201 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
  heavy rain across the warned area. Up to three inches of rain have 
  already fallen, highest from Cochrane to Independence and 
  Northfield. Flash flooding is expected to begin shortly. An 
  additional 1 to locally 2 inches is possible.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Arcadia, Whitehall, Alma, Buffalo, Blair, Independence, Buffalo
  City, Fountain City, Fairchild, Price, Hatfield, York, Northfield,
  Merrillan, Alma Center, Levis, Taylor, Waumandee, Cochrane and
  Hixton.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams, country roads, farmland, and other low lying
spots.
