  of KC Camp Road. The Saint Joseph Abbey parking lot will be 
  threatened.
* Impact...At 50.0 feet...Property along the east bank will be 
  inundated. The entrance driveway to property near the gage on the 
  east bank will become impassable. Water will cover Million Dollar 
  Road at the intersection of KC Camp Road. Caution is urged driving 
  along Million Dollar Road. The river will be bankfull at Saint

LOW PRESSURE OVER SOUTHERN ONTARIO CANADA HAS A COLD FRONT
EXTENDING SOUTHWEST INTO NORTH TEXAS. AN OUTFLOW BOUNDARY HAS
BECOME STATIONARY OVER NORTHERN LOUISIANA WITH RAIN AND
THUNDERSTORMS FOCUSED ALONG THE BOUNDARY PRODUCING VERY HEAVY RAIN
IN THE SHREVEPORT AREA. ALOFT...A CLOSED UPPER LOW CONTINUES TO
MOVE ONLY VERY SLOWLY EASTWARD OVER NORTHWEST MEXICO.

LOCALLY...SCATTERED SHOWERS HAVE DEVELOPED NORTH OF THE
INTERSTATE 10-12 CORRIDOR WITH GENERALLY LIGHT RAIN AMOUNTS.
BREEZY TO WINDY CONDITIONS CONTINUE ACROSS MOST OF THE AREA...WITH

SLOWLY...LIFT NORTHEASTWARD THROUGH MEXICO ON THURSDAY...NOT
REACHING LOUISIANA UNTIL LATE IN THE DAY SATURDAY. PRECIPITABLE
WATER VALUES ARE ALREADY AROUND 1.5 INCHES...AND SHOULD INCREASE
TO 1.75 TO 2 INCHES ACROSS THE AREA OVER THE NEXT 24 TO 48 HOURS
WITH THE HELP OF A 40-50 KNOT LOW LEVEL JET. THESE MOISTURE LEVELS

INDICATES THAT HEAVY RAIN THREAT SHOULD FOCUS ACROSS WESTERN
PORTIONS OF THE AREA...INCLUDING BATON ROUGE...ON THURSDAY INTO
THURSDAY NIGHT. THIS FOCUS IS EXPECTED TO SHIFT EASTWARD INTO THE
NEW ORLEANS...HAMMOND AND SLIDELL AREAS ON FRIDAY. GETTING SOME
INDICATIONS FROM MODELS THAT THE HEAVY RAIN THREAT COULD LINGER

.DAY ONE...TONIGHT

A GALE WARNING IS IN EFFECT FOR COASTAL WATERS WEST OF THE
MISSISSIPPI RIVER AND THE TIDAL LAKES THROUGH TONIGHT. SMALL CRAFT
ADVISORIES WILL REMAIN FOR WATERS EAST OF THE MISSISSIPPI RIVER AND
WILL INCLUDE ALL COASTAL WATERS THURSDAY MORNING THROUGH MIDNIGHT
THURSDAY NIGHT.

A WIND ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FOR MUCH OF THE OUTLOOK AREA
THROUGH THURSDAY ALONG AND SOUTH OF THE INTERSTATE 10 AND 12
CORRIDOR. SOUTHERLY WINDS OF 20 TO 30 MPH WITH FREQUENT GUSTS OF 35
TO 45 MPH ARE EXPECTED.

A COASTAL FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH THURSDAY FOR
ALL COASTAL LOCATIONS FROM THE MOUTH OF THE ATCHAFALAYA RIVER TO
THE MISSISSIPPI-ALABAMA STATE LINE. THESE LOCATIONS WILL CONTINUE
TO EXPERIENCE TIDES UP TO 2.5 FEET ABOVE NORMAL LEVELS. A FEW
LOCATIONS MAY NEED TO BE UPGRADED TO A COASTAL FLOOD WARNING WITH
TIDES POSSIBLY AS HIGH AS 3 TO 3.5 FEET ABOVE NORMAL...MAINLY
HANCOCK COUNTY AND THE NORTHSHORE OF LAKE PONTCHARTRAIN.

THERE IS STILL A SLIGHT RISK OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS FOR THE AREA
THROUGH TONIGHT MAINLY ALONG AND WEST OF A LINE FROM THE BATON
ROUGE METRO TO HOUMA. IF A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM IS CAPABLE OF
DEVELOPING...THE MAIN HAZARDS WOULD BE DAMAGING WINDS...FREQUENT
TO CONTINUOUS LIGHTNING...AND VERY HEAVY RAINFALL.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY

A FLASH FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FOR THE ENTIRE AREA
STARTING 6 AM THURSDAY MORNING THROUGH SATURDAY MORNING. STORM TOTAL
RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF 6 TO 10 INCHES WITH LOCALLY HIGHER AMOUNTS
EXCEEDING 12 INCHES ARE POSSIBLE.

A MARGINAL RISK OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WILL EXIST THURSDAY FOR THE
ENTIRE AREA. THE MAIN CONCERNS WILL BE DAMAGING WINDS HEAVY RAINFALL
