* At 330 PM Thursday the stage was 15.9 feet...and rising.
* Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 17 feet.
* Forecast to rise above flood stage by late this afternoon and 
  continue to rise to near 25.3 feet by Friday afternoon. The 
  river will fall below flood stage by Saturday evening.
* At 26.0 feet...Major flooding begins. Widespread inundation 
  flooding occurs upstream and downstream from the gage. The 
  Riverside Park will flood up to 7 feet deep. Some homes at the end 
  of Bob Brewster Road will be flooded. Moore Creek will back up and 
  flood portions of Payton Road near Cliff Payton Circle around 5 
  feet deep. Large portions of the day use area parking lot and north
  camping site in the Chattahoochee Bend State Park will be under 5 
  feet of water. Small coffer dams at Plant Wansley downstream will 
  be topped.

  portions of the Northwood Country Club Golf Course upstream from 
  the gage on Club Drive...and in the woodland areas downstream from

  woodlands along the river upstream and downstream from the gage on 
  Flakes Mill Road. Large portions of the Chapel Park west of the 
  gage will be under 2 to 3 feet of water.

MODELS REMAIN IN GOOD AGREEMENT OVER THE NEXT 36 HOURS. UPPER
RIDGING NUDGES BACK TO THE NORTHWEST INTO THE REGION IN RESPONSE TO
THE NEXT DIGGING SYSTEM TO THE WEST. SURFACE RIDGE ALSO BUILDS BACK
SOME DURING THIS TIME FRAME. THIS SHOULD RESULT IN THE AXIS OF
BETTER PRECIPITATION SHIFTING BACK NORTH OVERNIGHT TONIGHT AND
FRIDAY WITH THE MAJORITY OF THE PRECIPITATION NORTH OF THE STATE BY
FRIDAY NIGHT. STILL LOOKING AT THE POTENTIAL FOR ONE TO TWO INCHES

85 CORRIDOR WHICH SHOULD SLOWLY PUSH BACK NORTHWARD THROUGH
CHRISTMAS DAY AND BRING AN ADDITIONAL 1 TO 2 INCHES ACROSS NORTH
AND WEST CENTRAL GEORGIA...WITH LOCALLY HIGHER AMOUNTS. THIS IN
