.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT...

WIDESPREAD SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE TO MOVE ACROSS
THE REGION TODAY...ASSOCIATED WITH A COLD FRONTAL PASSAGE. THE
BEST CHANCE FOR THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE MAINLY SOUTH AND EAST OF
ATLANTA ACROSS CENTRAL GEORGIA WHERE THE MORE UNSTABLE AIR EXISTS
AHEAD OF THE FRONT. WITH STRONG LOW LEVEL SHEAR NEAR THE FRONT
EDGE OF THE SYSTEM...SOME STORMS COULD BE STRONG AND A FEW
ISOLATED SEVERE WITH THE MOST LIKELY HAZARDS BEING STRONG GUSTY
WINDS... SMALL HAIL...LIGHTNING AND HEAVY RAIN. A BRIEF ISOLATED
TORNADO WOULD NOT BE OUT OF THE QUESTION AS WELL.
