WIDESPREAD SHOWERS AND NUMEROUS THUNDERSTORMS WILL MOVE ACROSS THE REGION TODAY...ASSOCIATED WITH A COLD FRONTAL PASSAGE. SOME STORMS COULD BE STRONG WITH THE MOSTLY LIKELY HAZARDS BEING STRONG GUSTY WINDS... SMALL HAIL...LIGHTNING AND HEAVY RAIN. IF GREATER SURFACE INSTABILITY IS REALIZED WITH THIS SYSTEM THAN IS CURRENTLY FORECAST...THERE WILL BE POTENTIAL FOR SEVERE STORMS THAT COULD PRODUCE DAMAGING WINDS.
